Deer season opener
I know for a lot of us tomorrow morning is opening day for deer firearms season. Here's wishing you all a pleasant safe day with hopefully some success mixed in.
Checking my gear today. Rifle/ammo, boots, knife, coveralls ......................check. Everything else is just fluff. Geez, when did I start needing so much fluff?

Based on the date and time on the camera, this must be one of those time portal cameras that shows the future.....😁

I finally went out with the bow tonight. Gun season starts Sunday in Michigan, (unless Gretch tells the deer to stay home).
Had some does and fawns go through. Two fawns were pushing each other around. That was fun to watch, neither had antlers yet.
Only one buck came through, but he was moving to fast for a shot with the bow.

Pouring outside this morning for Opening Day. Went out for bit and then headed back in.
I find they are moving more at dusk and will head out around 4pm. Tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful.

Saw 6 does and almost a million turkeys so I gave up.
I figured to work on the house a while before the evening hunt.
The dang turkeys followed me home!
