Moose or Elk, Randy?
Moose prints will typically show the vestigial hooves. Is that what we see in the photo, or is that a front and rear print from an Elk?0 -
Moose, maybe. I don't think so. Randy is spoofing you fellas by pressing hard with right side of boot twice? Awful big dew claws.

I did. The conditions prompted more hiking the next day, so I went to a lighter boot.3 -
You know you got one brown boot on and one black boot on? 3 -
There be biguns around, Randy.
The first and third photo are of a bull that was in the fish pond adjacent to our clubhouse last year.
The second photo is one I took of a youngster that was about 50 yards from the No. 15 green out here earlier this year.

Dewclaws like that on a moose? Never seen em like that. Usually they have asymmetrical claws too, like bent teardrop shapes thicker on one end, so you know which direction they're walking. Heel end of the claws are splayed apart and tips are close together. So they can kick the fishing pole out of your hand. See the "dock" photo.

Bull moose definitely have dew claws. Having faced down bull moose in the woods many times (usually they are in my way while hunting elk), I can assure you these are pretty typical.0
