Stanley FatMax 700, (Putting in new battery)?
My battery crapped out. Any of you gents put in a replacement battery?
Hate to buy a whole new jump starter. If I just could put in a replacement battery?

Thanks! I saw that U Tube video, but mines a different model. Caused me to wonder if the the same replacement battery and disassembly procedure will work with mine? 0 -
rufe, procedure is pretty much the same, uses a different battery profile than the one in the video. Did a quick search and this was the best price I could find on one.0

I have a jump box I bought at Harbor Freight about 10 years ago.It lasted about 3 years and the battery died.I could buy a new one for about 50 bucks or a good quality replacement battery for about the same price.I replaced the battery and the jump box still works like new.

Thanks to the responders! I was going to buy and install a replacement lead-acid battery. That was until the shipping cost of a new replacement battery came up.
It was going to run $45 total, which I balked at. For only 10 bucks more, I bought one of the new miniature battery jumpers off of Amazon. It's much smaller than the Fat Max, and supposed to put out more amperage.
