The Pfizer vaccine can only be given after you have been confirmed infected. The vaccine must be stored at -100 degrees F. Both doses must be administered by 1 hour infusion (IV drip), generally at your local chemo treatment center if they have enough chairs & personnel.
Anyone here read Russian? I'm going to need help translating from cyrillic on the package insert. The Russkies claims theirs is 92 % effective.

The part about -100 degree storage is going to be a logistical nightmare. But it is my understanding is that it is 2 traditional shots by syringe 21 days apart for uninfected people. The distribution center for the U.S. is Kalamazoo, Michigan for the entire country. Of course the Russians vaccine is more effective, at least according to the Russians. I believe them almost as much as I do the Chinese. Bob

I'm not buying into the fact this has any lasting effect. Lasting side effects not withstanding.

Like the cold and flu, this will evolve to the point this particular vaccine will not longer protect, and other vaccines will be needed. Neither the cold nor the flu is one virus, they are many viruses. Covid is likely to become less lethal over time. Killing of your host base is not a great survival strategy for any organism or almost living thing.

Screw this. Apparently no concerts for Don until this garbage blows over. Even if I get the vaccine, I'll be damned if I am going to show my papers to some clown with a necklace badge.
More and more people are ignoring the stupid and demonstrably ineffective mask mandates that various states and cities have implemented. I would guess I would be on the hook for a couple of thousand dollars in fines by now if they were being enforced and prosecuted. To be fair, they have their place. I keep one with me and wear it when I think it appropriate.
We are finally hitting critical mass with this virus and will see infections begin to drop significantly well before widespread distribution of a vaccine has any meaningful effect. We should have done this in April like many of us suggested, but better late than never I guess.
