So what are gun and ammo prices doing right now??

Between my work schedule and helping my wife after her open heart surgery I haven't taken time to get out to a couple of local gun stores and find out what's going on.  So what's happening??

    9mm is pushing $1.00 a round. That should tell you everything.

    Guns are still available at inflated prices, but gun food is ridiculous, primers are not to be had unless your buying pattern quantities have been a few million at a time.

    Local places here are almost void of ammo and any type of firearm is hard to get now.

    Common CCI or Aguila 22lr going for .20/rd. I have a ton I paid .03 - .04/rd. Best investment return I ever made but I ain't selling.😁 Bob

    Don't buy now unless you have nothing.............don't sell unless you have extreme multiples.

    I have opened a whole trainload of ammo cans in my life and I have never seen ammo packed like that, not even repacked ammo from an ASP.  The price is insane.

    I got to Bass Pro 15 minutes before they opened and there were already 20 people in line.  I managed to get a bit of 9mm and 5.56, the shelves were wiped clean in under 10 minutes.

    "Free ammo can is included."

    No mention of the cost of the cardboard boxes or plastic bags.

    I'm not sure what the prices are doing here because there is no ammo on the shelf at Walmart and the parking lot at the local gun store is full of pickups so there is no place to park to go in and check.

    I'm sitting on several cases of 5.56 bought at pre-pandemic prices......at $.21- $.26 per round. Guess I have a gold mine........can quadruple my money.
