EDC Every Day Carry
I have been watching utube videos on EDC bags and their contents. These yahoos carry a bunch of crap around with them in their bags. Reminds me of a woman with a giant purse with pretty much anything one would want. Honey, I have a headache. Here take two of these. Damn I forgot my sunglasses. Here, I have a spare pair. Man I sure am hungry. Do you want some nuts or would you rather have something sweet. My little "tactical" bag finally broke and I bought a new one that is a little larger. It is a sling bag and appears to be well made. Trouble is I don't own enough cool tactical stuff to fill it up. And I don't want a 40 pound bag to haul to Walmart.

Those so called "tactoCOOL" bags, are as worthless as fannypacs and photographer vests. All they do is make you a tempting target, for the bad guys. And the not so bad guys nowadays. The hottest most valuable commodity, with all the bad poop that has befell us and are country is a handgun. Seeing some old geezer carrying a "tacoCOOL" bag, is like walking around with a bullseye on your back IMHO. Might as well open carry, for all the good it's going to do you.
Carrying concealed or in a pocket holster, would increase your chances of not being "made".3 -
You ever see MrMikes EDC carry stuff. It was about 40 pounds of stuff like 5 knives 2 guns 50 rds of ammo 4 flashlights and on and on.I have seen those videos too Ricci and those guys are ridiculous IMO.

Mikes illustrations of EDC items are the 1st thing that popped into my mind Sam06.
I may keep a bag locked in my vehicles (in a locked trunk) of get home items if things go bad, but lugging that stuff around all day every day?

Watching some of the knuckleheads festooned with their "Tommy Tactical" wannabe gear always put me in mind of the old Gilligan's Island image where Gilligan has flashlights and similar stuff dangling all over. Unbelievable.
Be aware of your surroundings, travel light, travel fast, know your gear.
