Cheap Krieghoff
This is a nice shotgun but she's not perfect so it could be a chance to own a Krieghoff 12 ga. O/U at a great price. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/883231421

For someone who wants a hunting gun with a bit of class that fills the ticket! Looks like aftermarket porting, Pro-Port I think. Are the choke tubes Briley? Not a bad looking repair to correct the length of pull and I think this one should do well. I've got it on my watch list. Bob 0 -
Great set up for a skeet shooter!

What would the LOP be if the extension was removed? 0 -
Is it a selectable trigger using the safety? Didn’t see a selector in the trigger guard...

That would make a nice truck gun. 3 -
" Not a bad looking repair to correct the length of pull "..................that's not a repair, that's a 'graft' line.......where 2 different walnut trees are 'grafted' together................. ;-) 6 -
I like it! By any chance did you ever sell used cars?MIKE WISKEY said:" Not a bad looking repair to correct the length of pull "..................that's not a repair, that's a 'graft' line.......where 2 different walnut trees are 'grafted' together................. ;-)

I agree...but WTH is with the poor recoil pad...My wife could do better than that...Nice shotgun but too much for a boogered up fix...(They should have sold it before the...tragedy...)MIKE WISKEY said:" Not a bad looking repair to correct the length of pull "..................that's not a repair, that's a 'graft' line.......where 2 different walnut trees are 'grafted' together................. ;-)0 -
Yep, stock was from a grafted tree.
Back to the length of pull with "graft" removed and but pad reinstalled question

Butch as soon as I get a chance I will pull it out of the safe and measure it. I am busy at the house right now. Ricci. 0 -
Thanks, Don't ask 84 about how long my arms are. Grins 0 -
The LOP if the pad and wood block were removed would be 12 1/2". 0 -
"I like it! By any chance did you ever sell used cars?
Bob"........................well...............now that you mention it..........

Congrats Ricci. The Kreighoff did well, in fact a couple of hundred more than I thought it would go for. Someone got a nice hunting gun. Bob 3 -
Thank you. 0 -

It was a nice shotgun that will last someone a lifetime if they choose.

If the stock hadn't been worked on I would have thought about bidding. There were a relatively small number imported and I would have wanted it just to be different. I think that the movement to 30", 32" and even longer barrels for sporting clays and skeet might have hurt the bidding. I started shooting with a 26" so it wouldn't have bothered me. Obviously the stock and aftermarket work, porting and I believe choke tubes, hurt it for the collector market too. In spite of all that , the gun has the reputation of being built like a tank and should last a long time and hold its value better than most. Going to a gentleman in Georgia as a skeet gun. 0 -
I have a friend salivating over this one;

But I don't know if he will pull the trigger and bid.
