Every day is Saturday for me.Same here. No more sweating it at deer season to make sure I have enough vacation days!! Windy and wet though is killing my outside fun time.

Windy here N of Raleigh NC. I was out when it cleared and there was a 4 point chasing does behind the barn. 0 -
There's a simple answer to the wet and windy. Frogg Toggs. Best thing I've found for keeping the wet and wind at bay.susie said:Same here. No more sweating it at deer season to make sure I have enough vacation days!! Windy and wet though is killing my outside fun time.

Best hunting is after a storm. 0 -
Spent most of the day in a tree stand. Very windy, at one point I thought I was on a ride at an amusement park. And I ain't ready for the winter type weather we've got.

Spent much of the day Wednesday sweeping away the downed leaves and pine needles around my property. Thought I did a great job when I was finished. When I got up Thursday morning it looked like I did absolutely nothing the day before!

Susie, as a result of the Great Covidiocy, one day seems pretty much like all the others. That's why my wife and I now call every day Blursday. I literally have to check my computer every morning to remember. Today, for example, our maid comes and it's garbage pickup day. Can't miss either one of those. It's also Martini Day for me - and I do not want to forget that. 3 -
Rocky Raab, I like that, Blursday. Lol. Since I retired last year the only thing that has kept me semi-aware of the calendar is Mimosa Sunday. The rest of the week is Scotchurday or Winesday.

Susie, we used to have cocktails only on weekends and Wednesdays. (We called that day Gladys - because we are always so Gladys Wednesday!) But now, since there's no rule against drinking on a Blursday... 0
