That they do, they scream their guts out at highway speeds with the factory trans sprocket and 4 speed. Bumping it up one tooth makes a major difference. My ’82 is “Harley Red” and black with gold factory pinstripes. The kicker is always a conversation piece with younger folks who never seem to have seen such an item.

Never had interest in a Hardly Ableson. Still don't.
Owned over 40 motorcycles and ATV's. Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Yamaha. 50cc to 1500cc. I'm all for American made unless American made means an inferior product. Maybe someday I will get old enough to appreciate slow and bad handling/suspension/brakes. Not yet.

Only motorcycle I ever had was a Yamaha V Star 600. It was a nice bike but I sold it because Austin is just too dangerous for motorcycles in my opinion. 0 -
