A study I saw many years ago addressed the massive damage done to the brain on animals hit in the heart/lung area. that study came to the conclusion that the POSITION of the heart valves when the bullet hit was the key, open valves=massive brain damage, closed valves=not so much.

That is what I recall reading years ago. Something about a 5 psi increase in the brains blood vessels being fatal. Bob 0
