My kind of cat. Looks to be about half grown. 0 -
Would like to give him a little ear scratchin' and some head pettin' and maybe a little scooby snack for doing such a good job on that snake.....probably would bite me though.Very cool, thank you.

Must be from some of the new cell deer cams? Pretty amazing footage 0 -
Why do they roll around on it after they kill it?
My dog does that sometimes with her toys.0 -
One bad boy down. I would rather see the cat than that dang snake in the woods. 0 -

Aside from venom and rattles, rattlesnakes along with other snakes secrete an odious musk out scent glands in their cloaca, especially when being threatened. Just another defense mechanism.mohawk600 said:tomh. said:Why do they roll around on it after they kill it?

Cats being cats and dogs being dogs like to roll around in obnoxious things to us like animal feces, dead animals, etc to hide their own scent from other predators.0 -
Yep it is(was). That cat knows how to deal with rattlers. But I gotta say, that snake took a lickin' and kept on tickin'.Grasshopper said:I thought it was a rattler?
