Pistol grip compatibility...

I just bought a Mossberg 500 Field Bantam .410Ga and wanted to know if I can put a pistol grip on it in place of the stock. If so what would be the best pistol grip to get?

  Mossberg makes pistol grips.  Both my 500 & 590 came with them in the box.

  The 410 has a slimmer receiver than the larger gauges so not sure about how those would fit.

  IIRC the 410 uses a different size stock / pistol grip than the 12 gauge ones.

  I put a Phoenix Tech pistol grip stock on my Mossberg cruiser and really like it and can now shoulder it if needed. Unless you need to save inches on the overall length, you may want to consider something similar.
