    Yep, would make a great deer hound.  Looks a little like a Blue Tick any how. Does he/she flush when pheasant gets behind him/her? Is it possible they are both waiting to sound the alarm for a clear shot when deer crosses the road? :) --------------------Ray

    It was a typo.  Instead of "bird" dog with a "b", it should have started with a "t".
