    Lipstick on a pig.  I sold a rather nice early Buckmark for what I bought it for, $100.oo.   Not a bad plinker but not easy to disassemble for cleaning.

    bought one a couple of weeks ago on GB.  thing shoots great, very accurate, and a whole lot less money.  sure theres a place for that one but just not for me.

    Love Buckmarks. My 1st handgun purchase was a Buckmark Micro slab sided Bull barrel. Took the center out of the bullseye with it at my last CCW shooting qual.

    Bought a really nice Heavy Target barrel model Buckmark with a Tru-Glo sight on it from Ricci a few years back. Nice. Very nice.

    While that one is really pretty, I agree, it would be a safe Queen due to the Turnbull collectivity aspect. Thanks for the post, interesting to see.

    Look on you tube for "buckmark trigger job". Easiest mod you can do, and it is reversible if you're not happy with it.

    I have never been a fan of them.  They are OK guns but I would rather have a S&W M17 or a 422  either with a 6" barrel. 

    Ruger Government model is a good shooter too.

    Yea we tried them years ago for metallic  silhouette matches and they would not shoot well enough for the 75 and 100 yard targets. I tried two of the 10" bull barreled guns and they would not keep up with the Ruger Government Model I was shooting. They do look nice.

    Buckmark Standard, pre-fiber optic sights, 5.5" slab side barrel, plain all around, for me. It'll hit an oil drum at 100 yards from the hip.  And 16" pine cones @ 400' on a clear day if you do not drink too much coffee.

    The Smith Model 17 is also on my list of favorites. Smooth as a she mouses belly.

    I hope not. I have kept out of that debacle, and hope everyone plays by the same rules. But I know what you mean..
