A quick check reveals this to be fake news. Reagan got Kennedy confirmed in February of 1988, and the 1940 nominee was confirmed in January.
Biden’s new point is that people have already started voting. This early voting is new, of course, and there is no precedent being violated.
Both statements are false, and Trumpers will believe one while Bidenettes will believe the other.
It is a sorry state of affairs.
Edit: Further checking back to 1836 shows the latest date of nominees in these presidential years to be in July. Biden is correct in that it does not appear that any SCOTUS justices have been nominated or approved 'while a Presidential Election is underway'. Prior to the recent advent of early voting, this would have had to occur pretty much after election day and prior to the seating of the electoral college, and even if Barrett is confirmed after the election, it is not defying any precedent, though it may be setting a new one.

CNN has Biden with a 16 point lead this morning. All hope is lost. He is uniting the left and progressives. It's been a pleasure gentlemen but it's time to sign up as a Comrade of the Democrat Party.

I wax in a VA waiting room yesterday while undergoing a "Stress test." A lot of mandatory waiting through various steps of the test. (There for about 6 hours.)
The News was on. I just kept shaking my head. (Luckily I had my Tablet on me.)

The respondents Are cherry-picked to achieve a desired result with the intention being to change the thought processes of the undecided voter. It was exposed in the 2016 election, it not studied or reported.
