I would rather clean three nasty 1911's
than one Mr. Coffee. It's been a couple of months and it was looking bad so I have been squirting it with Spic and Span and rubbing away all the brown stains but there are a lot of tiny corners and ridges inside this thing. I have a gallon of white vinegar so that's next. I am going to run a full load of half and half water and vinegar and then two loads of just water and I am done.

Everyone knows that's where all the *flavor* comes from. 0 -
Someone who shall remain nameless, out of fear of her doing great bodily harm while I sleep, did the vinegar treatment one night after dinner. She rinsed once and figured that was enough. The next morning I discovered a new taste sensation and not in a good way.😝 Bob 12 -

Next you are gonna say you are gonna wash your favorite coffee cup as well. 0 -
Is that the source of the famous brown water based preservative? 3 -
The "fond" in the pot just adds flavor........... 0 -
It will eventually reach a point where you can just add water to the crusted pot and have "coffee"... 0 -
Rather sad state of affairs that your cleaner got the autocensor. 0
