IRS Investigating NRA’s Wayne LaPierre
Say what you will but it does not look good For those NRA lifetime subscriptions.
serf
The AG lawsuit claimed the NRA’s failure to include certain personal
benefits in Mr. LaPierre’s W-2 annual-compensation forms “permitted him
to file false personal tax returns with the IRS.”

If true, good riddance to bad rubbish, IMO.
It has been common knowledge that Wayne LaPerrier has been living high on the hog for years on the contributions of the NRA membership. A disgusting abuse of the tax exempt status of the organization, but in the big picture, if the membership had no problem, it was not my issue.
I have long objected to the legislated access approach to gun ownership of the NRA, and if they fail, will not miss their history of marginalizing and tearing away of our 2nd Amendment Rights.
Bye, Wayne. If you had an ounce of integrity you would come clean and do all you could to protect the organization.
I think we all know this will not happen.3 -
Well stated, Don. 0 -
Wayne LA Pierre has an "image problem" Don't expect it to ever go away. He should resign immediately if he cares about the future and preservation of the NRA.

Not that either would be much of a loss.
