I hate moving
or pretty much any kind of change for that matter. However in the next couple of months I will be moving to a new office down the road a couple of miles. I have accumulated a bunch of stuff in this office in the last couple of years. Fifteen hundred rounds of 9mm, maybe 500 rounds of .45 Colt and a few hundred rounds of other various calibers. There is a can of .45 Colt brass, I'm guessing 3000 and another 3000 of .38 special brass, oh and 1000 9mm brass. There are a couple of boxes filled with mags. New .556 Magpull, some M14 mags, and other various mags. A bunch of holsters and belts. Like 50 rifle and pistol soft cases along with a few hard cases. A couple of big boxes of gun parts and a small one with maybe 20 sets of scope rings. A tool box full of tools, two gun safes. Another large tool box filled with patches, brushes, cleaning rods. I am selling small stuff on Ebay cause that beats moving it. Oh well, coffee ready.

Let me be the first to say, I’m in for your giveaway! 😆
Only reason I’m still married after 29 years. Too much stuff to move. 😉

I feel your pain. When Judy and I got married 26 years ago I threw or gave a lot of stuff away that I had accumulated at my house that we sold. I vowed not to keep stuff just in case there was a 1% chance it would come in handy some day. This was day three of cleaning out 1/2 of the garage and why I have kept a lot of the stuff in there is a mystery. How many 2 inch pieces of cut off steel and wood will I ever need? Broken/worn out gas and electric power tools that I may need parts from even though they don't match any existing tools. I can finally see the end of the clean up in sight and now have room to accumulate a whole new generation of junk. I am hopeless.😢 Bob 0 -
Don’t worry be happy. I will gladly come load and carry off all the ammo and such for you . I will even do it for free so you will not hurt your back . Since it is hazardous material I will of course dispose of it properly.

Such a sweet man. I wouldn't feel right imposing on you like that. Besides there's a big dumpster out back. 😀 0 -
I retired and moved from a home we had occupied for over 15 years.....before we left I got rid of all sorts of items I knew I was unlikely to need or use. When I arrived in our new home and unpacked everything I still asked myself why I paid a ton of money to move some of it........I have spent the last several years selling, trading or just giving away other things that clutter up my basement. Moving time is the perfect time to get rid of clutter and start over.....Good luck with the move..
If you mail me all that .45 Colt brass, I would gladly pay the postage.....Just trying to be helpful and get you started !!!

you don't really hate moving, I know you rarely leave the computer, but you do go out for fast food, and that requires actual movement and relocation. Packing up your office and getting it moved is not tough if you start early and get things packed in well organized and labeled boxes. Pizza helps, beer does not. 0 -

That will be $1.22 per round lately.0 -
The 1500 rounds of 9mm, if sold at today’s prices, would be enough to pay someone to pack and move. You’d still have some left over for a case of beer. 0 -
Be careful where you put your hand, several years back I got bit by a 3 ft. rattler cleaning out a storage barn. 0 -
Yep, moving sucks big air especially when you have been in one place for several years and then YOU have to move almost everything yourself and place it in some type of order so as you can find your Xhit later. Also sucks knowing you moved something, but later you know it's somewhere but cannot ever find it, but later you find it when looking for something else. Yep, sucks big air.
Some people just move themselves and leave their Xhit behind and then buy all new Xhit to help eliminate the confusion.0 -
There is nothing fun about moving.........at all. Just know that most of it is money in your pocket now. Good luck getting rid of stuff you don't feel is needed. 0 -
My last move is my LAST. It was not only my stuff, but stuff from friends I survived. But it's all good stuff. Am I starting to sound like George Carlin? You're right Okie, big air. Even though I labeled boxes, I'm still looking for things. 0 -
My wife is a hoarder, I always said I won't be saddled with dealing with that stuff if and when, looks like I was right LOL0
