Excellent price---automobile service

Took the wife's car in to our local Toyota dealer and had the oil (synthetic) and filter changed and tire rotation.  Total charge was $62.00.  Can't hardly believe the price, especially with synthetic oil.

    There are different kinds of synthetic oil. Five quarts of Mobile One costs around $30.00 and the Mobile One Filter is $12-$15. So if you got full synthetic and a good filter then that's a great deal.

    That is the price the Toyota dealer charges me to change the synthetic oil and filter in my Tundra.
    That price is almost less than what it would cost me for the oil and filter and I don't have to remove the belly pan and lay under the vec and it has a record of being done by a dealer.
    I change my own oil in my other vec.s

    It's not uncommon for the auto service department to give you a big break in the price for your first service.  They want you to feel comfortable with the service they offer, & impress you with how reasonable they are.  Within a year, it will creep up to the usual $100 charge.
