this item surprised me....
Both in how high the bidding went, and how much the seller wanted... Perfect example of starting it at $0, and letting it go...

It seems there are more folks than usual 'screwing around' on the auction side. A lot of these are nothing but jokes. 0 -
It all depends on who you insult. Calling Nunn and myself snowflakes, and two old ladies clutching our pearls was an invitation to a quick exit.Junkballer said:And if we post something insulting.........we get banned

, I never did that nor ever would........I was raised better
Maybe "rediculous" is a better word I should've used.0 -
The one that Toad posted isn't offering an item for auction. It's advertising a service. So how does GB make any $ off of that. Do they pay rent for that space or does that stay in perpetuity. 0 -
That Savage basket case auction, smells to high heaven to me. That any body would bid $430 for it, doesn't compute? My WAG, person or persons, are playing games. I just can't figure out what the scam is? But I'm sure there is one. 0 -

Here's the correct way to offer a service on Gunbroker. Use a fixed realistic price with buy it now.

I don't like the concept of listing fees but maybe, after reading some of these auctions, I should reconsider. 0 -
I want to know what these guys are having to drink. Or maybe smoke. 0 -
I've heard rumors of Paypal blocking use of both the seller and buyers accounts for a time period if they declined payment for firearms.Horse Plains Drifter said:PayPal for only payment listed, too.
Anyone know if this is true and if so why do sellers list payment as paypal only???0 -
Why? A. They have never been caught and had an account frozen, and B.......... I don't think there IS a B. Sorry.
