So Ruger gets the Marlin brand which I'm excited to see what they can do with it.

Not crazy about Vista getting Remington ammo brands, one step closer to a monopoly, they will probably have like a 50% market share now which will Increase the price of ammo.

  Glad to see the Marlin brand to leave Remington maybe now I can add to Marlin collection with some new Marlins

  Ruger taking control of Marlin will most likely be a good thing.   I've been shooting more and more Federal rifle ammo lately with god results so maybe VIsta will fix some of the issues with the Remington line.   I have used a lot of Remington ammo through the years but have run into some issues with quality control lately.   Wrong bullet loaded in a round in a box of core lokt bonded 30-06 ammo, shotgun sabot slug rounds with petals missing from the sabot in some copper solids are two that stand out.

  My understanding is none of that has been decided yet. They are going to court this morning.
