I don’t know of one currently made, but I have a Remington 552 Gallery Special that only shoots shorts. Watch for one on the auction side.

Browning made a short only semi-auto.  I don't know if they still do but I see them on the auction side fairly regular.  High Standard made short only pistols but they're pricey when you find one.  I'm sure there are others too.

Hi Standard made an Olympic model .22 short target pistol. Sold mine nearly fifty years ago. I liked it but I needed a new car & sold off a lot of my guns then.

I have 3 Hi Standard conversion kits for different models. The previous owner probably tried them, but I haven't.

Beretta 950. Got one in .22 short. I put a 12"x12" steel plate at 50 yards and can hit it about 75% of the time with that little thing!

Here's a Remington, the same design as the Browning.

I have a Winchester 74 22 short only.  Guy down the streets Dad had it and he gave it to me when his Dad died for helping him do several things.

It is a cool gun, accurate and reliable but it is a full sized rifle.  The only 22 shorts I could find were CCI HV rounds and they are as loud as a 22lr.

I would like to have a Browning SA in 22 short again.  I had an old rusty one that was really beat up.  Again a guy gave it to me for fixing his brush hog.  I used it as a Boat gun when I was setting out crayfish traps.  It killed a lot of snakes and a few turtles for crayfish bait.  When I left LA I gave my old 12' John boat(Which I had found in the bayou) the gun a bunch of ammo and my traps to a good friend so he could trap crayfish.  I kind of wish I had kept the gun but it was rough as a cob, it always fired and was accurate.

I gave it to a GB member who’s young sons were just getting into shooting.
He showed it to me, nice little gun. I gave him a Marlin 81DL as he was into collecting Old 22 Bolts. Don

I think that Brownells carries a 22 short conversion for the 10-22.

Ruger 10/22 can be altered to use 22 short.
