How good & reliable is the FNS 40 long slide?..

I have a couple of FN pistols and they run fine. I do not have the one you asked about. I have a FNS and a FNX both in 9mm. Of the two I like the FNX better but I'm not much on striker fired pistols because they just do not fit my carry methods.

I don’t have the long slide but I do have the FNS .40. It fits my hand well. Steel magazines and a fully rifled (not octagonal) barrel. Not the greatest trigger, but once I got used to it, I can do pretty good hitting the gongs at 25 yards. The made the with and without a thumb safety.

Two FNS .40cal handguns. I like them. No complaints.
One with safety, one without.

Got an FNS9 that quickly became one of my favorites. Then I bought a .40 longslide upper for it that runs flawless as well.
