Been Gone Too Long...

Howdy fellows, been gone awhile....Just went through  a "Sneak Up" Hurricane!   Sally was a real bitch!...never seen so much damage to Baldwin Co. as of now.....I am blessed that I have three homes in the County, and no were harmed other than a railing on my back porch.....The Bay House was the most vulnerable, but escaped with little damage...Pier and boat dock unscathed!...did lose a 150 yr old oak tree at the rental house,but no shingles etc...very fortunate....do a YOU TUBE on FORT MORGAN,AL. Hurricane damage....My CFO house was unscathed also..she built a "Gold Fortified" beach house on the Gulf Side!....houses all around hers was obliterated....We are all so fortunate...God Bless the unfortunate....God Bless my friends on Gun Broker.     I was just thinking the other day, when your name was mentioned, I wish that Guy would come back.

    Post some more fried seafood platters, so I can drool all over myself.

    Glad you folks came through okay.   IIRC you posted some pictures of the "Gold Fortified" when it was going up.

    I'm so glad to hear you are ok and didn't suffer as much damage compared to all the pictures I've seen posted.    I saw an update post about you being ok earlier this week, so that was a relief.    Its amazing how close things can be totally obliterated with so little damage just down the road.  
    A lady that lived just down the road from me married and moved down there earlier this year.    They had a little farm and they lost quite a bit, including some animals.     I feel for everyone in the area the storm hit.

     you do need to visit the forms a bit more often I for one do miss your post

    Really happy to see you posting here again and making it through Sally with no damage to your properties, other than what you mentioned.


    I think I told you that my son had rented a condo very near Fort Morgan on the gulf side, and her place made it through okay, too. My son made it close to you, but stayed over on I-65 at Atmore, before moving on to another beach in Florida.
