Shameless Plugs... Posting Guidelines

We do not allow the posting of 'For Sale' or 'For Trade' listings anywhere on these message forums. If you have something to sell, please post it on our auction site at http://www.gunbroker.com

    You cannot post your own sales, links to OTHER competitor websites.....hopefully everyone here is an adult and has enough common sense to know posting links to your own GB auctions is fine and drawing attention to sales (even ones that aren't your own, but you find interesting) is allowed.

    You cannot post your own sales  that is exactly what the guide lines are. Looks like a few of us including myself in the long past have violated the rules GB made.

    There's a big difference between making a for sale post and posting a link to a gunbroker.com auction. If you don't get that then you are beyond help.

    You are pushing a REALLY BAD point on your part. Stop it right now. You are completely wrong and trying to stir the pot thinking you're so bright.
    Links to Gunbroker Auction are completely acceptable.

    If I remember correctly, Locust Fork had a forum "stalker" who would drag this up every time LF posted a shameless plug. A ruling came down from CaptFun, who in addition to being a forum admin, was also an officer of Gun Broker Inc., that shameless plugs were allowed in the forums. Just like other rulings from CaptFun, until I hear different from GBHQ, his rulings stand.

    I had hoped that with the demise of Great Guns and MrMike, the forum was now free of tattletales. As administrators, Nunn and I are given wide leeway on interpreting the forum rules. Shameless plugs are allowed in the forum.
