Would this make a good home defense shotgun???

I know I would need to saw the barrel off a little but I have a good sharp hacksaw and some black spray paint. A folding stock would be the bomb!! Hey will this thing Slam Fire??

    LOL  Cut the barrel off a gun like that and you should have your................fingers cut off!

    Don't forget the shell side holder to cover up those scratches on the receiver.

    A 410 with #8 shot is a great home defense combo and if it slam fires it is even better that means it will clear trenches too.

    To paraphrase an old saying, I don't know much about art but I know what I like. The only thing that needs is a pistol grip because I don't like English style stocks on anything but side x sides. If you take your hacksaw (probably dull) to it remember you can run but you can't hide!😠😊 Bob

    It's to nice for home defense. If you shoot some low life POS that's breaking into your house with it the cops are going to confiscate it for evidence. I use a police trade in Winchester Model 1200 12 ga. riot pump shotgun that's a dependable shotgun that I only paid $125 bucks for. The scum that breaks in to someone's house is not worth the price of a collectable gun that's going to be thrown around and scuffed up in the cops evidence room. And then you'll probably never get it back anyway and if you do it won't be worth making firewood out of.

    My I suggest to improve the home protection aspect, place the end of the barrel in a big vice and flatten it so as to create a wide narrow pattern, More coverage equals a better chance of a good stopping effect.

    Ugh it has an English stock. Chop away! I'll send you some spray on bedliner to give it a "tactical" textured finish.
