West Coast Ports Can't Book Rail On BNSF And Union Pacific
A Northern California logistics consultant was unable to book containers on the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) or Union Pacific (UP) railroads for the first week of September going to and from U.S. West Coast ports and Midwest destinations.
The consultant said, “I have been working in the industry for thirty years and I have never seen anything like this. It’s weird.”

Unfortunately, the researchers say that current climate models don’t account for this kind of mechanism. That means that future melting may be twice as bad as is currently predicted.

One online commentator, sitting in for Rush, claimed the counties with the issues with fires were Democratic and had not practiced forest management in 30 years, so they could say it's all the fault of climate deniers.
If so, I am sure they definitely waited for a fire to start naturally and didn't go out there and start fires just before an election.0 -
