Much better to go find out than not go and wonder.  Put them where they count and be quick about it.

    ???

jimdeere - The short answer is I don’t know yet. The USPSA scoring system will update tonight nationally.

As for the match- I had was really happy with my performance. I shot the exact match I game planned for.

    No procedural penalties

Zero hits on “no shoot” targets

    Zero misses

I ran it clean from start to finish.

The area I could improve most was I needed to add in more speed and take a few more risks. But this wasn’t the match to take chances and have something fall apart, so I played it safe.

I finished 11th overall of 65 shooters and 5th within my division (Carry Optics). Ideally I would have been top 10 overall and top 3 in my division.

It was really hot (I was in Miami) and I had to RO for my squad- my physical conditioning definitely effected my performance over the course of the day. This is why I never really got shooting fast. I need to get into the gym and get conditioning - the bottom line is I slowed myself down this wknd- nothing else.

Here you can see my combined 11th overall (11th of 65 shooters) finish in the match.

Here is 5th overall (5th of 27 in my division) in Carry Optics.

And here is my scoring breakdown by stage throughout the day. Overall 58 “A zone” hits and only 6 “C zone” hits. That level of accuracy was the game plan. (There is no longer a B-zone on USPSA targets).

So I could have been better physically prepared & I will fix that. Overall happy but probably not strong enough to shoot USPSA Nationals in a month.
