    I bet that bear has gotten a drink there before and no one saw him. I think I would have hit the deck running after being awaken by a bear messing with my foot.  :D

    Smitty that happened to me once, I leaned back a against a stump on a mtn bike ride and fell asleep in the sun. Woke up to a big black bear sniffing my hair, and startled. That startled him and he jumped back a few feet. I got up quick and expected him to run off, like black bears “always” do. Nope he was sticking around, way WAY too close. I swung my backpack at him and hit him with a couple rocks and finally got my bike between me and him, and he turned and kinda sauntered away like “I’m not leaving cause you WANT me to, I’m just bored of you now”.

    A local bear near  here has learned to open car/truck doors. Smart they are. Don't know it is the same bear but people in the same area are having their windshield, front and rear broken, bear paw tracks for evidence, Oh and BLM, bears lives matters.
