here in SC KANSAS before dawn ...sky covered in bright stars.....mid 80's today and clear when i went to shop to work on a vehicle...came out and we are covered with overcast of smoke ???????????  long ways from kalif

  You may have gotten a little from OR and WA as well.  The jet stream is carrying the stuff all the way to Europe.
