Who else went to the range

I have a range in my backyard but spend more time mowing the grass than shooting LOL0

Unfortunately not. Mostly staying indoors to avoid the crappy air here in the PNW. 0 -

Went to a defensive pistol shoot yesterday and shot pretty crappy! One of those days, I guess. It was still fun! 0 -

Keep the comments coming, although the OP won't be able to respond for two weeks (or possibly more). nemesisenforcer has a problem with GB administrators. That's too bad...for him. 0 -

Didn't go to the range, rode my ATV past it to try to shoot the beavers damming up my neighbor's lake. I carried my single shot 223. No luck, gonna try again tomorrow. The mosquitos are thick, but I sprayed down before I left the house. We are going to try using some Tannerite on the dam, that should be fun! The grumpy neighbor who moved out here in the country from town across the highway will LOVE it! 0 -
Skeet range Saturday. Shot my Beretta O/U 12 ga. Model 57E. I bought back in 1969 from a shop outside the airbase in Aviano, Italy. I haven't shot it in a long time...it showed

22's this weekend in the pasture first time I experienced S&W's. Friend from Michigan enjoyed it greatly.

I shoot in my back yard just about every day. Yesterday was 32 ACP day. I took out the Colt Pocket Hamerless and the Beretta 81. I put about 150 rounds down range. I don't reload 32 acp so I have to be stingy with it. 0 -
We also have one of those "grumpy neighbors who moved to the country from town." Called the Sheriff on us multiple times for shooting on our own property. (Proper backstops and not in their direction.) They are about 500 yards away. (Give or take.) The Sheriff came out several times, observed what we were doing, had no problem with it, explained he had to respond to the call. Told to have a nice day each time. (After talking guns.)
Finally told us he was going to have a frank discussion with the new people. The calls stopped.
(PS) This is the same family that moved in with 3 aggresive Pits, that were letting them roam the neighborhood and street. Several of us had conversations with them about this in the first few weeks they were here. (Basically telling them what was going to happen if they were on our property or attacked our dogs or a person.) So these people did not get off to a great start in our neighborhood.
Two of their Pits ended up attacking each other and had to be put down.

KenK, Our grumpy neighbors live about 1/2 mile from me, but only 1/4 mile from the beaver dam. I think a Tannerite charge of about a quart should rattle their windows!

Neighbors who shoot outnumber those who don't here.

I was planning to shoot a cowboy action match in Arkansas. Got my truck all loaded to go and then looked at the time - 945AM.
No way would I make it for a 10am start time. I figure I'll catch the next one.
