I think a forum giveaway would be more appropriate. ;)

Since you have the original box put me in!
Tough call on selling it now. The crazy bidders don't seem to be looking for collectable stuff. Ammo and self defense arms are crazy but other stuff is normal or a bargain. But if it is just gathering dust go for it and maybe there are 2 bidders that will get in a bidding war. Bob

No giveaways.  Many searches resulted in there not being a single one for sale anywhere.  I have all the pieces/parts and it all appears to be NIB.   No reason to think I can't demand a premium.

ETA:  Not that it wouldn't be a nice giveaway, its just that I don't love ya'll that much.   B)

I'm assuming you have not sold a lot of items on GB.  So you wouldn't have a lot of positive feedback, so you might have bidders be afraid to bid on an item listed by you.  So go ahead and list it but list it with a beginning bid that you would be happy to get if your scope sells for that amount.  If it sells great.  If several bidders get into a bidding war and your scope goes through the roof, GREAT!  If it doesn't sell, no problem, you still have your scope.  This is my advice and it is worth every penny you paid for it!!       :)

Susie, be very careful. Don't know which scope you have but had a friend who had the green(OD?)sniper scope used in Nam by Marines. I believe it was for Pre-64 Model 70 Win and not Rem 40x. The scope sold for thousands. Don't sell your self short.

Yep, I know its not the same scope. Added the pics for illustrative purposes. It goes on a Dragunov and is IR capable, thus the batteries. If I do list it, it will start with a minimum bid. I just need to puzzle out where to start it.

It's Chinese.   I found an old posting from a related forum from 2014 that had one listed for $300.    I seen a few posted for sale with no price  listed.

Yep, I'd turn that thing into Yankee dollars if it was me. Some Tactical Timmy(thanks warbirds for that fitting term :p) will JUST have to get that for his newly purchased long range killer.

Yes. List, add shameless plug, get money, move on. Repeat with other stuff that is at a valuation peak driven by current events...aka the second step of “Buy low, sell high”.
