Could use some prayers for my Dad.

He had to evacuate his home yesterday due to a fast moving fire down in SW Oregon. 
He had time to grab a change of clothes and his dog and then had to bug out. 
Not sure if he's gonna have a house to come home to.

    Thanks for the prayers, folks!  I think it worked!  I found this video from this morning and I saw my dad's house in it and his neighborhood appears to be unscathed.  It's in the first residential neighborhood they drive through in the video.

    Hope it all worked out Steve, it's getting crazy around here. They evacuated Gaston and Cherry Grove last night, they're 7 miles south of me. The majority of the smoke is about 3 miles south of us, day night difference, literally. Looks like it won't get any better for a week or so....yikes..

    Thanks for asking, Ken.  
    The house is fine but the power is more than likely out.  No one is being allowed back in yet since there are lots of down power lines and hot spots they're still mopping up.   Hopefully they get it back up pretty quick so the food in his fridge and freezer don't start stinkin' too bad!  
    Dad's at my step-brothers house now and they are all packed up and ready to bug out due to a fire to their east.  It's a pretty hairy situation down there!
