That's a looker for sure. Sure is tempting but I have to many trap guns now. 34" unsingle ported with that pad and stock should make it a soft shooter. I bet it does well. Bob 3 -
My first "good" shotgun was an earlier 101 trap with 30" barrels. It was light, which I though was a good thing, but in fact it meant it kicked like a mule! The stock didn't fit me very well either, which only compounded the agony.BobJudy said:That's a looker for sure. Ricci's gun has all of the great features including the adjustable stock, and as you said, it should be a soft shooter.0 -
These closed out from several vendors for $995 which was a STEAL! I had an ATA HOF combo for ten years and had no issues. This gun would last a lifetime. Some of the 101 O/U's kicked like a mule but the Diamond grades not so much. Needs a new kickezz pad properly fit to the beautiful stock. 0 -
I have the Soft Touch on my Perazzi. Makes for a soft shooter. 0 -
My first trap gun was a 101 also. It was one of the first ones and I got it from an older shooter at the gun club. Said it kicked to much for him as he was getting up there in age. Being young, dumb and indestructible I figured I wouldn't mind the kick. Red Dot 1 1/8 ounce hand loads sure put that theory to rest. Found a 870 competition with the built in recoil reducer and couldn't believe the difference. You're right about Ricci's having all the bells and whistles and I bet it is a lot more comfortable than my long gone 101. Bobmark christian said:
