That's a looker for sure. Sure is tempting but I have to many trap guns now. 34" unsingle ported with that pad and stock should make it a soft shooter. I bet it does well. Bob

My first "good" shotgun was an earlier 101 trap with 30" barrels. It was light, which I though was a good thing, but in fact it meant it kicked like a mule! The stock didn't fit me very well either, which only compounded the agony.

Ricci's gun has all of the great features including the adjustable stock, and as you said, it should be a soft shooter.

These closed out from several vendors for $995 which was a STEAL!  I had an ATA HOF combo for ten years and had no issues. This gun would last a lifetime.  Some of the 101 O/U's kicked like a mule but the Diamond grades not so much. Needs a new kickezz pad properly fit to the beautiful stock.

I have the Soft Touch on my Perazzi. Makes for a soft shooter.

My first trap gun was a 101 also. It was one of the first ones and I got it from an older shooter at the gun club. Said it kicked to much for him as he was getting up there in age. Being young, dumb and indestructible I figured I wouldn't mind the kick. Red Dot 1 1/8 ounce hand loads sure put that theory to rest. Found a 870 competition with the built in recoil reducer and couldn't believe the difference.  You're right about Ricci's having all the bells and whistles and I bet it is a lot more comfortable than my long gone 101.
