Shooting insurance

Is shooting insurance good or worth the money? When I got my Ccw the instructor pushed it on us. I want to know if anyone has used it and if it is as helpful as they claim

  Never heard of it.  But, specialized policies, like accidental death, or cancer, insurance, are rarely worth the limited protection.
  

  I suggest that you talk to your insurance agent & buy an "umbrella policy", which gives you liability insurance above what you have in your homeowners/auto policies.  Minimum of $1M coverage.
