Are any forum users suffering from slow internet

I still can't get a call through to Frontier, the system is flooded with calls, it just hangs up on you.  No other way to get to them and report the problem.  According to an internet trouble website Frontier is not reporting many issues but there sure are a lot of comments about lost or poor service from them.  No videos will play, I still can't get to my banking info for bill pay.  Paying 50 bucks a month for lousy service is no fun.

    Nope. I use Comcast/Xfinity on copper cable.

    It's ok today but a day or two ago there were a lot of internet sites that could not be obtained due to a wide ranging problem across many ISPs caused by CenturkyLink.

    Yes, we have Spectrum.  It was worse on Sunday, could not even open GB or any other gun forums I go to.

    I had Frontier for awhile. All kinds of problems, mostly with reception. Found out they went into bankruptcy. Kind of suspicion, that  is the root cause of the problem.  They just don't give a poop. As who ever buys them or their assets, is going to be responsible.

    Frontier has been an issue for years.  I am paying for a meg the best I get is .35 meg upload or download.  We have been assured, promised and sworn on a stack of bibles by the phone reps that Frontier is going to improve.  If going from mediocre to lousy is an improvement they get a gold star.  I know they went bankrupt, but the management has not invested in the equipment needed to keep up with the times, ever.  It is their fault alone, they get big bucks in bail out golden parachutes and the customers get the shaft.  I am paying fifty bucks for unreliable service.  I would pay 75 for service that approached 75% of what they claim to supply.

    I have such poor service from Centurylink that it is hard to tell if it is any worse than normal. 😠 Bob

    Call your bank or credit card company and stop payments to them. Then they'll be trying to get in touch with you and you can tell them to shove it.
