No doubt it's good for sellers, but normally the point of buying bulk or auction items is to try and save money! People bid here, in their "I,m not goint to lose attitude" paying often times more than if they had purchased the item straight off the department store shelf???

He sent be a rather long PM this morning, explaining that I had misunderstood the point of his thread, and he actually made a couple of valid points.
His problem was, like so many others, he just couldn't leave it at that. All of these clowns have to add one more line:
"If you want to ramble on about whats good for Gun Broker, start your own blog. Otherwise stay on topic and give the Forum Guru motor-mouth a break!"
That is what got him banned.12 -

I can't figure out if he is a frustrated buyer or a jealous seller that doesn't list on Gunbroker. For sure he doesn't understand capitalism. The tone of his parting line is unfortunately becoming a common thing on internet boards. Showing a lack of judgement and manners is easy when anonymous and hiding behind a keyboard. Bob 12 -
I'm not going to let someone bad mouth Gun Broker who is a guest in Gun Broker's house. Imagine I invite someone into my home and when we get to the living room the first thing out of his mouth is "I hate black leather furniture!" That's fine, because he won't be staying long enough to sit down.
Let's go back two weeks to the guy who had his gun stolen and had lost all of his purchase records. He declared an emergency and demanded the Gun Broker super-secret contact info or phone number so that GB could bail him out. There is no such phone number or email, and he was told that by me, as well as other members. He was also given very good advice on how to go about solving his issue without waiting for Gun Broker support. That was unacceptable as it meant that he would have to solve his own problem.
After four days he came back outraged that his issue was still unresolved by Gun Broker and that the phone number was being withheld. Blaming everyone but yourself has it's advantages, but blaming Gun Broker in Gun Broker's house caused me to slap his hand. He then sent me a PM which nearly melted my monitor. I hadn't been insulted like that since Cartod (who by the way will never return).
The ban was a done deal at that point. Now he has no one to talk to about his stolen gun.6 -
