there goes your christmas present..... 0 -
I have one but my barrel is much shorter. I've had it for a long time & never any problems. It does have a silly safety unlike the Winchester & you can't hold the trigger back & rapid fire it. I like the shorter barrel as it makes a nice small take down package. 0 -
That was my first rifle. Grandpa gave it to me when I was seven. I couldn't tell you how many critters met their end with that rifle. Still have it, need to shoot it more. 0 -
Those are good guns.Ricci that one looks like it does NOT have the silly safety on the top, is that correct?

have several of these ..the short barrel are neato little rifle for a pickup or tractor...Rossi made em first and when Taurus bought em out the little oshaΒ safety went on...there was a guy in florida or texas that made a fill in for the top safety after you took it out but haven't found that note yet in the pile 0 -
Sorry this is a dangerous gun without the extra safety.Β

Maybe you should put that in the additional information and or get an electro-pencil and write a warning on the receiver.0 -

Thanks for posting the link to the Rossi.
When I was a kid I loved those pump .22s and still do. I looked forward every year to the fair coming to town so I could shoot the .22 pump gallery guns in at the shooting gallery. You just had to compensate for the sights that they bent or adjusted way out of alignment to make it hard for people to win any prizes.Β Β
A few years ago I found a pretty nice Remington Model 12A standard grade .22 pump that was made in 1928. It's amazing how accurate these old rifles are.
I've also got an old Savage model 1914 .22 pump with a busted stock that I've been getting "around to" fixing for the past 20 years. I'll get around to it someday I'm sure.Β
Remington Model 12A.

You made me look. I would have bet mine was made by Rossi. Good thing I didn't. Says Made in Brazil, Taurus Model 62. Barrel is just about exactly 16" beyond the receiver but then about 5/8" more into the receiver. The detachable stock is just a tad over 16". Makes a really great take down package. 0
