Dodged a Bullet--I Hope

Here in extreme SW Arkansas/NE Texas, the weather guessers were predicting 6" of rain and up to 70 MPH winds. It has been raining half the night and all day, but no winds over 30 MPH. The center of Laura passed further East of us than the original expected track. I had filled all our gas cans and both vehicles on Tuesday in case we needed to use the genset or get out of the house. The power went off this afternoon for about 10 seconds. 
Prayers sent for all the people displaced and for losing their property.

  My sister called me to say, that the storm missed them in Humble, Texas. Thank god. I was worried sick for her and everyone down there

  Here in Fouke, Ark.  it wasn't as bad as had been predicted.  Our electricity didn't even blink.  Thank the Lord!
