Maples Changing, dropping leaves -

KenK/84Bravo

Seems early. More and more on my back deck. Can see a bunch from my back deck, leaves are beginning to turn.

Prob. not you yet Sam06, but Allen Griggs and Butchdog2 are probably seeing it.

    It's ok. They are supposed to do that. You get out there and rake them up so the yard looks nice.

    All I am saying, is just that it seems early, especially given how much rain we have had.

    I do not live in Wilmington, I do not rake leaves. Too many around here to entertain that.

    Can't come quick enough for me. Tuesday is supposed to be the start of our dove season. What a laugh, doubtfully any of them actually survived the summer. Probably all that is left, is their dried up little corpses.

    We have elk bugling in the hills already.  They're a couple weeks early for out norm.

    I hope we get a quick cool down and it kills off the Hurricanes and I can get to NC for leaves and waterfalls!

    I would say it is early.  I was in West Jefferson NC 2 weeks ago golfing and it was nice and cool but the leaves were still green.

    I first noticed it about three weeks ago up here in New York State on the Vermont border. I was driving my wife nuts...we would be in the truck and I'd say" Ooh!, there's another one! ...and over there!". Apparently I do it every August....

    On another note...the Farmer's Almanac says we are going to get a lot of snow up here in February. I'm shocked..

    you must be pretty far north , I had low 60's last night but got about a 1" 1/4 of rain out of that storm that came thought early this morning ( few miles north of I90 and west of Ft. McCoy
