    no offense to texans but i do hope that track keeps moving to the west.  each update has it a little more to the west, but after it moves the length of cuba its going to be anyone's guess.

    IF only the Green Deal would have happened there would be no more tropical storms, tornados, typhoons, drought, blight, hurricanes, or killer hornets. So sad 😞

    Marco should be breezy with rain, looking like 45mph sustained.


    Laura might make major hurricane status which is category 3 and up. Potentially 105- 111+mph sustained, hope not!

    That's just nuts.  I live in a mountain pass where two ocean systems agree to disagree.  Cook Inlet has its own weather, and Prince William Sound has its own weather.  When there's a disagreement, they send each other air pressure to try and equalize the difference.  We wind up with hurricane force winds pretty much every month.  It makes life interesting!  Self shoveling snow is a glorious thing.  And then when you can't take any more of the house shaking, the jet stream rises up and you can hear it screaming past above the house, but it's nearly calm at ground level.  You stand outside and your arm hairs are all standing up on end, from the fear or from the exhilaration .... who can tell?  What a glorious place to live!!!!

    That sure does bring the vivid memories flooding back, thank you.  Alaska is not a place, it is a life experience that leaves you with the impressions we are just a pimple on a gnats azz when it comes to the big picture.
