    This is my daughter having fun two years ago. 14 y.o. .......first time she had ever shot an AR...........I love the question "Is it supposed to get hot?"

    The smile on her face from hitting all those steel plates in a row is priceless, you can tell she was loving it. For her first time shooting an AR she sure made it look easy.

    At long last, a linked in YouTube video that is worth watching. Nice shooting. The "pistol" appears to be over gassed. Try a heavier buffer.

    Had to laugh watching that when she asked about it getting hot. First time my son shot mine, he was about ten. Did a 30rnd mag dump because he couldn't hear me yelling at him to stop. When he did, smoke was coming off the barrel and he asked me, "Dad, is it supposed to do that?".
    About 10yrs later, he did the same thing with CritterGetter's AK47, and the last time he did a mag dump with somebody else's ammo.. When we got back to the house, Crit sat him down at his reloading bench, and taught him to reload. Then handed him about 300rnds of brass. Told him if he wanted dinner, they all had to be loaded by dinner time.

    Yep.........it was very funny about it getting hot..........I also thought the one where she is shooting a PTR 91 on the bench with bipod was good to. I added that one to the channel. She let her face creep up on the stock and she got "kissed" by the rear sight..........lol.......no damage, but it was a learning lesson.

    I started her out with a .22 revolver, which she didn't have much regard for. On her first day she ended up shooting the .22 pistol, AR -15, S&W Shield, PTR 91, and Glock G40 10mm..........................the 10mm ended up being her favorite. Now I need one of those as the one she shot belonged to my buddy.
