Might want to buy some extra
I go to the grocery about every 10 days or so. I was headed there today but stopped at the Dollar General to pick up some paper products. What I needed most from the grocery was eggs so I picked those up at the DG and skipped the grocery trip.
What I noticed was the DG was low on paper products again. Very few paper towels I got the last 6 pack, all that was left was 1/2 dozen twin packs and while TP was decent there wasn't the normal stock. I bought a couple packs just to make sure we don't get low down the road. Disinfecting wipe were sold out as was the Lysol, bleach was twice the pre COVID price or more. I did pick up some pine-sol. Ken they had spam, but only a few cans. I skipped that but did get some jalapeno vienna sausages. I added laundry soap, dish soap, and bathroom cleaners, these were not fully stocked either.
The grocery has not been normally stocked since this started. Our supply network is fragile. I have some beans, rice, dehydrated canned foods, canned powdered eggs, puddings etc. supplies and could go quite awhile if we needed too. If our supply network gets more stressed some people are going to be doing without. We have a lot of people working hard to keep our supply network running, bless them all.
Things aren't as bad as they were in March and April but they seem shorter than is was last month.

should leave more to be delivered to those areas that are safe....... 3 -
I work for HEB and our store is getting back to "better" but we still see supply problems with certain items.........especially bacon. 0
