Excuse me, but why?

Toilet bowl cleaners and other types of surfacant antimicrobial products claim to kill 99.8% of all germs.  Since urine is sterile, why bother?

Is it the 99.8% of germs the ones I should worry about or is it the .2% left that is gonna be the issue.

Just curious.
