New truck tires....I'm so confused...
I have a 2017, 4X4 Ford F150 that has 48,000 miles on it. It has been driven more like a car then a truck. I think the biggest thing I've had in the back is maybe a bicycle and a lawn mower.I'm going to need new tires sooner than later. It has Goodyear Wranglers on it with twenty inch wheels. I wish I paid more attention when I bought the truck. This is going to be expensive. Looking for recommendations on new tires. I am a true nimrod when it comes to this.

I took your advice and went looking for Coopers. I found some Discoverer Maxx S/T All-seasons in 235/85 R16 with free delivery to Alaska. Hot doggies, I'm gonna have new shoes for my baby! Thanks for the suggestions! 0 -

GoodYear Wrangler Kevlars Load range E bought on sale with Discount Tire Rebate and GoodYear rebate. Bought the best for less than a full set of Coopers and put 200 in my pocket. 0 -

Funny thing about Goodrich T/A tires, as mentioned above. I run BFG T/A Mud-Terrain on the Red Rover and love them. Great in rocks and muck, and pretty doggone good in deep snow. Bumper deep never stopped me. So I found a pair of BFG T/A All-Terrain on sale for the Grey Rover and holy schmolies. The things are like a pig on skates in the snow. I know my snow ain't your snow, but I'd rather get out and walk down off my mountain than try to get down it with the T/A All Terrains. They're flat spooky. So I gave them away and put on Nokian Hakkapeliittas and never looked back. Those things are like a cat on carpet, no matter HOW icy it is.

For people trying to figure out tire sizes, I made a VERY simple little spreadsheet that calculates overall diameter for either imperial or metric widths and aspect ratios. Just change the numbers in the blue boxes and it will calc the height. 0 -

I'd take the 20" rims off and advertise them for sale. Find a set of 16 or 17" rims that fit and put some cheap tires on. 6 -

Went to Walmart. Bought Kumho tires. Yes, they are so Chinese they come with a fortune cookie.
Price was 1/3 of what Goodstone and Fireyear quoted me. 2 years later, they still ride good, good traction, very little wear showing. You may finish lighting your torches, I'll get the stuff to make S'Mores.0
