I'm sure it's nice, but...

Seller seems to specialize in European arms. I looked through some of the items he has sold and came across a .44 Magnum revolving carbine unlike any I have ever seen.
But the Korth? Why would you waste your time listing that? Even if he came down 90% he would have no takers.

Korth has been making beautiful, handmade firearms for about 50 years.  I think most sell in the $5,000-10,000 range, which limits my interest.  Maybe they make a model that is worth $1M, I don't know, & I don't care.
But, I find this seller's remarks are gratuitous & insulting; there's no need to belittle those who may believe that the gun they are selling is overpriced.  If their offering were serious, the least that they would do is take 5 minutes to post a few photos.  There is nothing wrong with a potential buyer submitting a "lowball" bid on an auction that starts at $.01; their opening price of $1M precludes that, so why bring it up?
I am reminded of the story about the man who asked the owner of a huge yacht how much it cost; the response was "If you have to ask, you can't afford it."  Insulting, but accurate.

You could buy a rail car load of Smith & Wessons for that money, and have enough left over to buy half a rail car of ammo.

Pass.  If I'm gonna spend a million bucks on a 22 lr revolver then it at least needs to have a fiber optic front sight.

I think the auction is a mistake or not complete. There are no photos and if you read the print it states, "We start this no reserve auction at one penny. ".

You are probably right. That paragraph wasn't there last night when I first saw the listing on the GB main page. Perhaps they are doing it slowly this way to bring attention to the auction. I know the price caught my eye! Bob
