Sturgis 2020

They have been threatening to disrupt the rally for 3 or 4 years. It probably took that long to actually find some members stupid enough to try. Fortunately the police they want to defund were there to protect them. kinda ironic, ain't it? Bob 6 -
I really wish the police would have disappeared and I mean that. 9 -
A "stand down" order for the police would have been fun to watch!! 3 -
They are fine up until about the 28 min mark in this video, where big dummy kicks a bike as it goes by. Bet the cops were crapping their pants on this.

I couldn't really see any antifas but the dude with purple hair sure was a bigun LOL wonder why people are so stupid to go to something like that and try to disrupt a good time 0 -
Looks like there were only a couple of the idiots trying to get some attention. I don't think that bunch is stupid enough to come out in force with people that will actually fight back. 0 -
there was 7 of us there for 9 days . we tried to see as much as we could. the weather was great and met a lot of good american
's. everyone was hoping to be around when these fools showed up.( i mean everyone we talked to was wanting a piece of them ). we left for home on saturday morning early as we had a 12 hour ride back home. good on the police for doing their job and a big Hell ya , to the riders who stood together. there was Trump stuff everywhere and we did no see any Biden supporters or stuff anywhere !!!6 -
Little doubt they would meet a similar response in much of rural America. Even more doubt that most rural America law enforcement would go to that much effort to protect the protesters. 3 -
Few masks, wonder if everybody is going to die now? 3 -
sooner or later, yes........MrMag00 said:Few masks, wonder if everybody is going to die now?0 -
Anyone at Sturgis in 2020 is simply a dunce. I don’t care what the political affiliation is.

I had a motorcycle once........I would never think of riding from central Texas to Sturgis. I sold it because Austin, TX is not a safe place to ride. 0 -
Even the people who live there? I wouldn't go in any other year, so 2020 is no different to me. I have no desire to battle the crowds. Some of the bikes would be awesome to see, probably plenty of knockers to see too, and plenty you wish you could unsee too.Warbirds said:Anyone at Sturgis in 2020 is simply a dunce. Odds are there are some who have contracted the magical Covid at Sturgis this year. Odds are there are some who would have contracted had they not gone, but did not contract because they did. Knowing the risks and deciding for yourself whether the potential for exposure is worth taking that risk makes someone a thinking person. It does not make them a dunce.Warbirds said:Anyone at Sturgis in 2020 is simply a dunce. I don’t care what the political affiliation is.
Some will logically decide for themselves that it is a bad idea. Some will logically decide for themselves that it is a good idea.
A dunce would be the person who ignores the benefits of social interaction, eschews the camaraderie, and foregoes the enjoyment out of a fear he or she refuses to logically evaluate.6 -
Someone may contract it, take it back to their community and have an "outbrake" of something with a 99.6 survival rate if you get it. The bigger question is how will it be interpreted and reported to the masses. Will they admit they are wrong if nothing happens? Will they quit the fear and scare tactics when and if no real spread occurs?
We already know how the media will spin it.0
