Brother-In-Law Died Today

Not unexpected.  He's had Alzheimer's for several years.

Sorry he's gone, but happy my sister's ordeal is over.

     Sorry to hear prayers or your family . 

    my  mother , grandmother  ,uncle and aunt all died due to it ( basic all my moms family ) 
     terrible in so many ways . I cant help but worry I may end up that way

    Sad to hear, If the BIL of your oldest sister, I remember him and have a pic of both somewhere.
    Neighbor has Alt and barely remembers his wife.

    No, chiefr, he was my younger sister's fourth husband, and I don't believe you ever met him.  My other two brothers-in-law are still alive, though the elder of the two is pushing 80.

    R.I.P . .... tough deal...have several friends here and at the lake that have had a dementia of some type overwhelm them ....nasty cruel fate .....2 it ran over them like a freight train.....younger people .... wish you all there well...

    Sorry to hear Nunn. l watched my Mama die slowly from dementia/Alzheimer's for 8 years. They say there is no pain. l'd like to ask ''they'' how they know.. Mama spent her last years in a nursing home. lt wasn't a great physical burden on the family. l hope your sister is comforted knowing most of the pain is over. There's still the pain of missing a loved one. l help with my Wife's brother-in-law who  had stroke a couple yrs back. He lost of his strength on one side of his body but his mind is still functioning @ 82. l don't do alot tho, just take him to eat when he calls. Beeman used to chew tobacco, but his stroke ended that pleasure. He has since taken up cigarettes  to deliver his nicotine. His daughter is his most critical child. You would think she is an RN assigned to a nursing home. She keeps telling her Dad that those cigarettes are gonna ''KILL'' him. For some reason l just don't think he's too worried ;)
