January 20, 2021 is the date when Trump is no longer POTUS (becomes a private citizen).

Not if he wins he dosen't.

Yup. The reason the Dems and the Media tried for 3 years to derail Trump is that he figured out how to beat the "fix" that was in for Hillary. Now that same "fix" is in for Biden, but they have cut Trump off at the knees by stopping his huge rallyies.

If electoral college vote can't certify a winner, there is no duly elected POTUS.

The newly elected (seated January 3, 2025) Congress may be called upon to select a POTUS. House of Representatives chooses POTUS and Senate chooses VPOTUS. Republicans had better retake the House and retain the Senate to get the upper hand over Democrats.

    TRUMP 2020!

    Fixed dates for you. :)

My question in OP:  All the people involved with expiring terms, will they remain in office or terminate?

All replies above were about the President, but what about Senators and Congressmen?

Constitution of United States of America 1789 - 20th Amendment

The terms of the President and Vice President shall end at noon on the 20th day of January, and the terms of Senators and Representatives at noon on the 3d day of January, of the years in which such terms would have ended if this article had not been ratified; and the terms of their successors shall then begin.

*Commonly known as the Lame Duck Amendment,” the Twentieth Amendment was designed to remove the excessively long period of time a defeated president or member of Congress would continue to serve after his or her failed bid for reelection.

The answer is in the first paragraph to which I have added bolding.

    Best.

and the terms of their successors shall then begin.

My point is:  If the elections results have not been completed how can they know who the successors are?

I think the elections will be tied up in  the courts for - AWHILE

Martial law by then, inner cities burning and Federal National Guard Troops activated nationwide, President Trump is in power until law and order can be established and requiring all citizens to be vaccinated for The Wuhan virus. Local militias taken down if rebellion breaks out. Food shortages and power failures will be prevalent in the biggest Cities and counties. Medical care will be curtailed in many areas.

Hope for the best prepare for the worst. Some like having their head in the sand. Blissful ignorance is expensive however.
