I have a Sporter Match H Bar cal 223
The serial number comes up unknown
MH080684A  Any ideas on this? Thanks

  Colt's serial number look up has a lot of holes in it.

  
  

  Best bet is to call them. They will tell you the date.

  My serial # book only goes to 1991,  MH018775, so its way older than 1991.
